Selling Large Items with Global Market Connection

For Furniture, Industrial Equipment, Automobiles, Boats, and More, Global Market Connection uses advanced software to determine the optimal method of selling your item.  We can choose from a variety of marketing techniques including auctions, Buy It Now listings, Best Offers, and Internet Classifieds Advertisements.

Industrial Equipment - is sold AS IS unless the consignor offers a written guarantee of operating functionality. 

For automobiles, motorcycles, and boats, Global Market Connection researches Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, current wholesale auctions in determining a starting price for auctions or asking price on Best Offer listings.

Global Market Connection offers CARFAX, comprehensive inspections and detailing services for an additional fee to aid in establishing bidder confidence.

Where are my items kept?

Large items are kept on the premises of the consignor unless arrangements are made to place the item in storage.  Global Market Connection will incur the moving and storage expenses and a lien will be placed on the items.  These fees will be deducted from the Final Selling Price of the item, Net of our fees.

Where is my vehicle kept?

Global Market Connection will hold the title to the automobile, motorcycle, or boat until the item sells and the title transfers to the new owner.  All transportation expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.

Will my vehicle be inspected?
Yes. Included in our service your vehicle will be completely inspected. This facilitates buyer trust resulting in a higher bid.

What if my vehicle doesn't sell?
You will be notified via email. We will re-list the vehicle one additional time at no additional charge.

When can I expect to receive my check?
Payments on larger items can take between 30 and 45 days from the date of sale.  In the event the winning bidder defaults on teh purchase, the deposit of the buyer will be forfeited.

Fees For Services

Global Market Connection charges $500 plus 5% of the selling price for cars.  Included in our fee are the following services:

• SGS or ASE inspection *
• Photography at our location
• Professionally written listing
• Auction management
• Answering questions *
• Arrange Shipping *

Optional services:

• Professional detailing
• Photography at your location

* SGS inspection will be conducted at a location of your choice for vehicles 1980 and newer. Vehicles manufactured prior to 1980 will be ASE inspected at a local garage under contract with Global Market Connection.

Global Market Connection will answer customer questions about your vehicle to the best of our knowledge and according to the inspection report.

Global Market Connection uses special listing templates that fills in the data from your vehicle using the VIN number.  This facilitates making sure that all options on your vehicle are included in the listing.

Global Market Connection will arrange to have your item shipped to the buyer upon transfer of title or ownership from you to the buyer.
