We use Pennyweights (DWT) as a unit of measurment when weighing your gold and platinum jewelry and scrap.

Twenty DWT = One (1) Troy Ounce

This is an easy calculation.  Don't be fooled by dealers that try to confuse you by using grams and stating the weight is more.  Grams are approximately 64% of a DWT.

One DWT = 1.555 Grams

For Bullion Items, we use the Industry Standard of Troy Ounces when evaluating your metals.

On Your .9999 Fine Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Palladium Bullion,we pay Fair Market Value on your precious metals.  Market conditions determine the prices paid and change by the minute.  We typically pay between 95-105% of the spot price of your bullion.  This is determined by the manufacturer of the bullion, whether they are in bar format, or minted by an established government agency (i.e. American Gold Eagles, Canadian Maple Leafs, Kruggerands, etc)

How Do You Evaluate My Items?
For Gold, Silver, and other Precious Metals, we determine whether your item qualifies for Retail or Melt. Unlike other pawn shops, internet shops, and shady dealers, we weigh your items right in front of you.  We test your items purity using the latest in technology.  We use a calibrated scale, precious metals tester, gemstone and diamond tester, and other industry established methods to determine the authenticity of your items.

You are under no obligation to sell your items to us and we do not pressure you to sell them.  We rely on our reputation for honesty, integrity, and ethics in dealing with our customers.  We will even show you what our highest competitor is paying as further assurance that we are paying you TOP DOLLAR!

For Coins & Currency, we evaluate your coins based on current market date from the most current price guides provided by the Coin Dealer Network.  High end collections, key date coins, and Proof American Gold will receive substantial premiums.  We explain grading, rarity, and show you the sheets that we work off of so you are fully informed and educated.  We want you to be comfortable and know that you are getting paid full value on your coins and currency.
